“Once again, this year the senior officers of Cloudbase have answered the appeals of their many fans to provide pictures – for the second Spectrum Calendar. However, as an administrative decision, I decided to go against the wishes of this year’s Production Team to repeat the experience of a swimwear edition. Despite its enormous popularity, production of last year’s calendar was the cause of a security leak that very nearly jeopardised the real identities of the men and women who, every day, risk their lives and limbs to protect the inhabitants of the Earth against the menace of the Mysterons.
NONE of these officers are super-men or super-women… despite rumours to the contrary. They are, ALL OF THEM, ordinary human beings – who have trained themselves to the peak of excellence in their respective fields, in order to perform their duties to the best of human capability.
But like everyone else, they ALSO need to relax and take some rest. This calendar has been produced to reflect that side of Spectrum.
As with last year, I declined the honour of being included in the project. So while the professionals did their job and worked on the production of this calendar, I decided to take a few days furlough… and do some relaxing of my own, on the best golf courses Futura City has to offer."
